Dear Hiring Manager,

I am interested in a position with your organization. My resume is enclosed. I saw your position announcement on your career page and I am interested in the position.

I am a 1999 graduate of Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in speech communication with a radio, TV, and film concentration.

Over the past decade, I have designed and maintained personal and non-profit Web sites, including sites for Neoga Pole People Online (Neoga, IL), Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Mattoon, IL, Incarnate Word Knights of Columbus Council #9981, and a call-in radio talk show I hosted and produced from September 2004 until September 2006 on a station called “The Odyssey.”

I have produced video segments and have experience in logo design.

I seek new opportunities where I can use my knowledge of radio and TV broadcasting, video production, graphics (including the letterhead at the top of this very letter) and Web site design. I am willing and eager to learn new things and believe that, with my knowledge and skills, I can support the mission of your organization where I can contribute to your future growth. Examples of my work that have done are available for viewing online at bigbfiles.wordpress.com/resumeportfolio/.

I am available to meet with you to discuss your objectives and my background. You can contact me at (314) 607-2823. Thank you very much for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
